Things to Note
Find out if this trip is right for you
Hanok stay
This trip includes some accommodation with Korean-style floor bedding in a Hanok (traditional house). A traditional Korean bed is a futon-like mattress placed on the floor, which may be folded up and tidied into a closet during the day. While floor bedding can be firm compared to bed mattresses, it is quite comfortable and the floors are heated during cooler seasons.
Dietary requirements
South Korean cuisine does include a lot of meat and seafood. If you have special dietary requirements, we recommend reviewing the itinerary and inclusions to ensure that you will be able to fully participate and enjoy this trip.
Physical fitness
A level of fitness is recommended for this trip as there is some walking involved. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Meet Your Guide
Sharon
Hi, I'm Sharon and I'm the founder of Shim Tours. I have been travelling to South Korea for the last 10 years and each time I go, I leave with a list of reasons to go back. I have fallen in love with their food, culture, history and language. Becoming fluent in Korean has added so much more depth to my travels, allowing me to interact with the locals and I would love to share this experience with you. My aim is to give you a taste of what I love about Korea and show you its subtle charms and beauties outside of its K-drama image or K-pop culture. So if this sounds like an adventure for you, come join me!

Usually when we think of tours, we think of those big tour buses which rush you from place to place.
But sometimes, you just want to take it slow...
